The best solution will be an adapter from Beachtek or similar that will adapt the incoming line level XLR to a mic jack.

No, and looking at it more closely it’s a power mic jack.

Can you switch that camcorder to line level input?

You cannot legally use a copyrighted song in a video project without licensing it. CD, iTunes, recording from the radio, doesn’t matter.

Your options are:

1. license the song
2. switch to royalty-free music that sounds similar
3. commit a felony!
