I think I've been through EVERY piece of software out there for prompting, and DVCPrompt seems to be about the best for me. I have only one question...

I'm using DVCPrompt with a PrompterPeople DV-9, which uses a 7.2" LCD monitor. I can't seem to get the Talent Windrow to resize it's width down enough to fit....a bit is always off to the right, which causes portions of the text to also slide off to the right of the screen at certain font size/line spacing configs. No draggable arrow appears when I hover over the right border of the Talent Window. BTW, I'm on Windows XP.

Thanks!!!

A wireless mouse with a scroll wheel would work great for this purpose.

Hi Guy, For one-man productions, I'll need to control the scroll speed of the teleprompter (on a new Macbook Pro) from the talent spot. Can that be done using the Apple remote or do I need a wireless mouse? Thanks.

Thanks Kevin for your comments!! Once you start the scrolling, moving the mouse scroll wheel in the opposite direction will slow it down. And you can make the prompter window fill your screen by clicking the green plus sign button in the top left corner of the window.

Great software for a Mac. very affordable and functional. Had two problems with it, but I'm sure there's answers. 1) I tried a mouse with a scroll wheel and the prompter sped off on me. I couldn't get it to stop and it never slowed down enough to stay with the talent. Maybe it's in the set up of the mouse? or the software?

2) I wanted to take it fullscreen, but it only allowed me to expand the window and kept the borders.

Other than that...GREAT, GREAT product. I'll probably buy it when I figure out how to use it better.
