What's up with Edition's "sub-pixel rendering engine"?
When you move a title slowly, or apply an effect like a 3D rotation to a clip or graphic, the software renders that effect by performing millions of calculations per frame to ascertain the correct image.
If the "rendering engine" in software is subpar, you'll see "jerky" or "jumpy" motion" and render artifacts like pixelation or jagged edges on diagonal lines.
A great deal of development was put into Edition's subpixel rendering engine so that it would produce smooth, superfine results on a par with very expensive products (like the multimillion dollar boxes used in Hollywood movies).
"Render quality" is not something most people think about when buying editing software- but slightly rotate a video layer or graphic in your editing software and notice how pixelated the video looks and how jagged the diagonal line is... now try the same in Liquid Edition and compare the quality. The rendering is as smooth as Photoshop is for stills in my opinion.
