Is there a PAL version of de video droplets available too, or is it still ntsc only ?

Hi Josh,

I downloaded your app but it seems I’m doing something wrong. I got an .mpg file from the sony software that comes with the Handycam. Dumped it in the droplet and got this error in the Batch Monitor:

Status
Failed: 3x Can’t encode audio from MPEG-1 or MPEG-2 source

Any ideas how can I work this out?

Patrick, for uses more complex than a video/audio file (to preserve other tracks for example) it’s probably best to actually open Compressor and program it manually.

For PC, you can use many utilities, like ffmpeg for example…

Adolfo, you can use a DV camcorder, even a very inexpensive one like a Canon ZR.

2 questions…

1) If the QuickTime file has Video and Key tracks, will two DV files be created (Is there a way to configure a default naming convention for the dual DV exports)?

2) A PC version somehow, some where?
