Q. Why would I need one of these adapters?

A. To add the ability to use professional XLR based microphones with clean results on cameras with no XLR inputs.

The BeachTek adapters allow you to attach one or two XLR based mics and converts the signal to the 1/8″ mini-plug jack typically found on many camcorders.

The unit mounts via the tripod screw underneath your camcorder. There are separate level controls for Left and Right channels, a switch for Mic or Line level input, and one more switch for stereo or mono.

All BeachTek’s are passive devices and produce no additional sound, no hum, no hiss. These adapters are so clean they have become the industry standard.
BeachTek DXA-2S Dual XLR adapter The DXA-2S is the smallest adapter of the line-up providing two XLR connections and one mini-plug connection. As many shooters do, you can feed in one wired shotgun mic via XLR and one wireless lav through the 1/8″ miniplug input.

The DXA-2S mounts to any camera however it is better balanced for smaller cameras like the Canon Elura.

    hi, i have sony fx-1E, can i use DXA-2s for my camera, or i must buy DXA-FX? whats different for these product
